Off-System Bridge Load Rating Services

Trigon served as a major subconsultant on this project, providing condition inspections and evaluations of eleven (11) bridges in the City of New Orleans.
The eleven (11) bridges included:

1. Tullis Drive/Canal – COPCSS
2. Tullis Drive/Canal – COPCSS
3. Tullis Drive/Algiers Canal
4. Tullis Drive/Algiers Canal
5. Read Boulevard on Morrison Canal
6. Read Boulevard on Morrison Canal
7. Desaix Boulevard Bayou St. John
8. Robert E. Lee London Canal – CONIBM
9. Robert E. Lee at Bayou St. John
10. Robert E. Lee at Bayou St. John
11. Morrison OV Benson Canal

This project included visual field assessments and information gathering at each bridge site. The individual ratings followed the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials’ Load and Resistance Factor Rating (“AASHTO LRFR”) and were provided for LADOTD design and legal vehicles.
Upon completion of the assessments and rating calculations, the ratings were presented to the City and LADOTD for review and implementation.
